Schaerer Falls in San Diego All-College Consolation Finals

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State men's tennis play Marc Schaerer lost in the Flight 1 consolation finals to Valentino Pest of San Diego State in the San Diego All-College Tournament.
Pest defeated Schaerer by scores of 6-4, 6-4. After winning his first round by default, Schaerer dropped into the consolation bracket, where he won three matches before falling to Pest.
Schaerer was one of four Bulldogs playing in the tournament.
Next up for Fresno State is the ITA Regionals, which begin Friday in Moraga, Calif.
