Three Bulldogs Wrestlers Earn National Rankings

Fresno, Calif. - Intermat Wrestling ranks three Fresno State wrestlers amongst the nations Top 20 Individuals in each weight class.
Sophomore Marcio Botelho is ranked 19th in the 197 weight class. Seniors Eddie Gifford, 174 weight class and Ralph Lopez, 149 weight class, are ranked tenth and 20th respectively. This comes after the Bulldogs strong showing at the Fullerton Open. Both Botelho and Gifford won their weight classes.
Five of the Bulldogs upcoming opponents are ranked by Intermat as the top 25 dual teams. They are Okalhoma (4), Iowa State (11), Boise State (12), Arizona State (16) and Northern Iowa (17).
