FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State's men's tennis team suffered a tough 7-0 loss to No. 19 Pepperdine in its final match of the regular season. The loss came at the hands of the defending national champions in a match that was originally scheduled for February, but canceled due to rain.
In doubles, the 'Dogs fell in all three matches. However, each tandem made it a close match, respectively.
In singles, seniors Jakub Cech and Charles Irie, as well as sophomore Rudolf Siwy and freshman Tejesvi Veerepalli all went three sets.
Fresno State now turns its attention to the WAC Championships, which will be held April 27-29 in Boise, Idaho.
