Mendonca Earns Another Preseason Award

FRESNO, Calif. - Baseball America named Fresno State third baseman Tom Mendonca to the First Team Preseason All-America team. This is the third preseason all-america honor for the junior.
Mendonca capped off his sophomore campaign with four home runs and 11 RBIs at the College World Series earning the CWS Most Outstanding Player award.
Mendonca started 77 games for the Bulldogs in 2008 and recorded 19 home runs, eight doubles, and 70 RBIs. He also was named the 2009 Preseason WAC Player of the Year.
The Bulldogs open the season on Feb. 20 at 6:05 against Washington. Season tickets are still available at 278-DOGS. Single game tickets for Feb. 20 are sold out, but tickets are still available for the games on Feb. 21-22.
