FRESNO, Calif. - The 28th-ranked Fresno State men's tennis team notched a 4-3 victory on the road against in-state rival San Diego State on Thursday in San Diego, Calif.
In singles action, No. 110 Tejesvi Veerepalli defeated the Aztecs' Luis Rattenburg, 6-1, 6-1.
Boutillier clinched the team victory with his 6-4, 7-6 victory over Andre Feliz.
David Ayoun and Rikus de Villiers also victorious for the Bulldogs on the day.
The `Dogs are now 9-5 on the season and are currently riding a two-match winning streak. The `Dogs are 2-0 on the season against Mountain West Conference opponents.
The Bulldogs will next be in action on March 12, when they host Cal Poly. Two days later, the MWC's New Mexico will be visit the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center to take on the `Dogs.
