FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball coach Adrian Wiggins has announced the signing of Bree Farley to an Athletic Aid Agreement beginning in the 2010-11 season. Farley is a 5-10, combo-guard from Kadina, South Australia who comes from the Australian Institute of Sport, the same program that produced Rosie Moult and Hayley Munro.
"She has a ton of international experience," Fresno State assistant coach Brett Frank said. "She can play any guard position on the floor. She is an excellent shooter and ball handler but what we like most is her intensity. She is a fierce competitor who gives all she has on the floor."
Farley has played at the Australian national level since she appeared for the Australian Under-16 team at the National Championships in 2005. She also completed with Moult in the World Championships in Thailand last year.
While playing for AIS, Farley had a career high of 15 points, six rebounds and four assists while playing in 16 games.
