Dogs Ranked No. 25 in ESPN.com Poll

FRESNO, Calif. - A three-game sweep of San Jose State and 10-2 start to Western Athletic Conference play propelled Fresno State back into the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll at No. 25.
This is the second time this season that the Bulldogs have been ranked No. 25 in this poll and third appearance in a major national poll during the year.
The Dogs were riding a seven-game win streak the last time they entered the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll, including a 3-1 win over now-No. 1/1 Michigan (39-3) and a sweep of then-No. 20/25 Hawai'i.
This season, the Dogs own six wins over Top 25 teams and went 4-1 against teams that advanced to the 2010 Women's College World Series.
The Bulldogs have received votes every week the two major national polls released their rankings this season.
No. 25 Fresno State (26-11, 10-2 WAC) will start a six-game road span on Friday at noon Pacific in Logan for the first game of a doubleheader with Utah State and marks the beginning of the final push to the 2011 WAC Tournament, hosted by the Dogs from May 11-14.

Fresno State is the nation's only program to qualify for all 29 NCAA Tournaments.
"We Are Your Team!" -- After a six-game road trip, the Bulldogs will return home to host Nevada on May 6 (6 p.m.) and May 7 (1/3 p.m.) in the final WAC weekend.
