Moses Named Easton All-American

FRESNO, Calif. - After an impressive junior season, the Bulldogs' junior/utility Michelle Moses received her first All-American accolade as a third-team selection by Easton Sports Inc.
Moses (Paso Robles, Calif.) is the ninth Bulldog to receive an Easton All-American distinction for the 18th overall selection in program history.
Moses, a two-time All-West Region honoree and first-team 2011 All-Western Athletic Conference selection, helped extend Fresno State extend its NCAA record as the only team to qualify for all 30 NCAA Tournaments.
On the year, Moses (16-12) earned five victories over teams ranked in the Top 25 and batted .256 on the year with a team-high 12 home runs, 39 RBI, six doubles and a pair of triples.
She recorded the program's first cycle in school history to spark a thrilling 5-4 victory to open the 2011 season and smashed her third career grand slam at Utah State on April 22.
Moses also shined in front of a national audience on ESPNU when she tossed her first career no-hitter against then-No. 20/25 Hawaii while striking out 11.
She became the second Bulldog to hit 40 or more career home runs this season as well as becoming the sixth WAC player in conference history to have totaled 40 or more career long balls (41).
