No. 16 `Dogs Ace Aztecs, 4-3

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The No. 16 Fresno State men's tennis team continued its winning streak against No. 42 San Diego State Thursday afternoon beating them, 4-3, at the Aztec Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs (9-1) dropped the doubles point to the Aztecs (5-3) with losses by the No. 2 and 3 doubles teams. At No.1 doubles, Remi Boutillier and Francis Alcantara fought for the `Dogs as they defeated Javier Pulgar and Hunter Nicholas in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (4).
The Bulldogs came back in singles competition with wins from No. 52 Alcantara, Jean-Charles Diame, David Ayoun and Zachary Leslie. No. 17 Boutillier suffered his first lost of the season against Pulgar, 7-5, 6-4, at the No. 1 spot. The Bulldogs are now, 5-1, against nationally-ranked opponents.
The `Dogs will spend the weekend in La Jolla, Calif. competing in the 123rd Annual Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championships.
