• Eric Kiesau, named interim head coach on Oct. 23, led Fresno State as a head coach for the first time in his career vs. Air Force on Oct. 28; the 'Dogs fell 31-21.
• Eric Kiesau was hired on Dec. 31, 2015 to be Fresno State's offensive coordinator. The Pasadena, Calif. native most recently had stops at Alabama (2015), Kansas (2014), Washington (2012-13) and Cal (2011) prior to Fresno State.
• As Mountain West foe, the series is tied 1-1 between Fresno State and Colorado State. In each contest, the road team won.
• Chason Virgil became just the third Fresno State freshman quarterback to exceed 2,000 yards in a single season last time out; he is one of three FBS freshmen QBs in 2016 to go over the 2,000 plateau as well.
• Against Air Force, KeeSean Johnson (142) and Jamire Jordan (115) became the first Fresno State wide-receiver duo to post 100-yard games since Davante Adams and Isaiah Burse did so in the 2013 Mountain West Championship game.
• Jeff Camilli surpassed 200 tackles for his career last time out vs. Air Force; he now has 203 after seasons of 4-42-76-81.
• Stratton Brown owned 21 career tackles in 23 career games entering his senior season; through nine games he is tied for the team-lead in tackles with 81.
• The last time the 'Dogs suffered a seven-game losing streak was in 2006; after the seventh loss in 2006, that team won three-straight.
• Fresno State has never lost eight-straight games in program history.
• Just as its last road trip to Utah State, Fresno State will travel to face its second team in a row that will host the 'Dogs coming off its bye week.
