Fresno State drops 7-0 match at No. 27 UCSB

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's tennis team fell 7-0 at No. 27 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon at the Robertson Gym Courts. The Bulldogs fell to 3-6 on the year, while the Gauchos improved to 7-4.
In doubles, Euan McIntosh and Mantas Bugailiskis had 4-3 lead on No. 38 Nathan Eshmade and Miles Seemann, but before they could finish, Jakob Keppelmann and Patrik Pech fell 6-3 on court two, giving the doubles point to UCSB. The Bulldogs then dropped five consecutive singles matches in straight sets as the Gauchos claimed the win.
Fresno State will return to action in Tucson, Ariz., where the team will face Loyola Marymont on March 4 and Arizona on March 5. Both dual matches are set to begin at noon.
