Fresno State falls 7-0 at Cal Poly

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Unable to field a complete lineup at Cal Poly, Fresno State suffered a 7-0 loss on Saturday at the Mustang Courts. The Bulldogs dropped to 3-5 on the season while the Mustangs moved to 4-6.
In doubles, Euan McIntosh and Jakob Keppelmann were defeated 6-2 at the No. 1 spot by Ben Donovan and Corey Pang. With the loss, the Bulldogs dropped the doubles point after being unable to field a third team.
Fresno State then dropped five of six singles matches, with the last coming by way of forfeit. Straight-set losses for Mantas Bugailiskis, Jeremy Moser and Patrik Pech clinched the match for the Mustangs. Keppelmann and McIntosh then fell three sets to end the dual match.
Fresno State will return to the courts on Sunday at No. 27 UC Santa Barbara. The dual match is set to begin at 1 p.m. PT.
