'Dogs finish sixth at at New Mexico Team Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Fresno State finished sixth on Saturday at the New Mexico Team Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The Bulldogs finished the meet with 47 points.

A pair of sophomore scored the Bulldogs' top finishes of the day. Maja Pogorevc placed second in the 200 meters, clocking a personal best time of 24.56, just over seven tenths of a second below her previous best (25.41). Tiffany Gilmore also grabbed a second-place finish in the shot put with a heave of 14.09m (46-2.75). Gilmore also led the 'Dogs in the weight throw, finishing third with a mark of 18.19m (59-8.25).

Next up for Fresno State is the Spire D-1 Collegiate Invitational in Geneva, Ohio on Feb. 10-11.
