Fresno State propels past Boise State 4-1

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State defeated Mountain West opponent Boise State 4-1 Friday night.

The Bulldogs improve to 15-12 (4-2 MW) on the season.

Broncos take the doubles point
Euan McIntosh and Patrik Pech defeated their opponents at the No. 1 doubles position.

Boise State grabbed wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to earn the doubles point.

The Broncos took a 1-0 lead into singles.

'Dogs dominate singles
Patrik Pech gave Fresno State its first point to tie the match 1-1 when he defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 6 position.

Henrique Osorio defeated his opponent at the No. 5 position 6-2, 7-5, giving the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead.

The Bulldogs took a 3-1 lead when Mantas Bugailiskis bested his opponent 6-0, 6-4 at the No. 4 spot.

The match was clinched on court No. 2 when Euan McIntosh defeated his opponent 7-6, 6-2.
