Moser brings home Wildcat Invitational title

TUCSON, Calif. – The Fresno State men's tennis team finished the Wildcat Invitational Sunday afternoon. Jeremy Moser took home the tournament title for the Bulldogs.
Cagatay Soke, Henrique Osorio, Bailey Gong and Moser made the trip to Arizona for the Bulldogs.

Moser defeated Trent Botha of Arizona in three-sets in the championship match 1-6, 7-5, 7-5. Moser's win marks the first Fresno State individual tournament title in more than five years.
Soke took fourth place in the tournament, after falling to Valentine Lang of Grand Canyon University in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Osorio won his last match of the weekend in the consolation bracket Louis Menard of New Mexico State 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles, No. 3 seed Moser and Soke took third place in the Cardinal Doubles Draw after defeating the No. 1 seed Mitchell and Hough of San Diego State. Gong and Osorio took third place in the Navy Doubles Draw after defeating Nishitani and Rosas of New Mexico State.
Yesterday, Gong took second place in the White Singles Draw.Â
