• Fresno State opens its sixth season of Mountain West play at home on Sept. 30 vs. Nevada.
• Fresno State will honor the Valley's heritage with its annual Ag Fest evening, as well as honor the communities' Teachers and Firefighters, during the season's league opener. Â
• The Bulldogs return home after a 28-day absence after hitting the road for back-to-back contests on Sept. 9 and Sept. 16 as well having its sole bye week (Sept. 23) after opening the season at home on Sept. 2.
• Fresno State has not opened conference play at home since 2013 (vs. Boise State).
• The last three times that the Bulldogs won their MW conference opener, they went on to either win the MW Championship or play in the MW Championship game.
