Martino finishes third at Edinboro Open Saturday

Three Bulldog wrestlers competed at the Edinboro Open on Saturday hosted by Edinboro University at McComb Fieldhouse.
EDINBORO, Pa. - Three Bulldog wrestlers competed at the Edinboro Open on Saturday hosted by Edinboro University at McComb Fieldhouse.
Freshman Brandon Martino was the 'Dogs top placewinner finishing third at 174 pounds with a 4-1 record in the tournament. Winning his first three matches, including his first two by bonus points, the Clovis native fell in the semifinals to Ty Schoffstall of Edinboro, 11-5 before coming back in the third place match to defeat Joel Leise of Gannon University, 4-1.
Danny Salas picked up a pair of wins at 197 pounds, recording a fall over Gordon Truesdale of Edinboro, while Jeremy Trinh claimed a win at 125 pounds with a 6-4 decision over Trent Gill of Mount Union.
Fresno State returns to action at Pac-12 opponent Oregon State on Monday evening at 7 p.m.
