Colon earns bronze medal at The Ziolkowski Memorial

Fresno State Wrestling volunteer assistant coach and Valley Regional Training Center athlete Joe Colon took bronze at 61 kg. at The Ziolkowski Memorial Tournament.
WARSAW, Poland - Fresno State Wrestling volunteer assistant coach and Valley Regional Training Center athlete Joe Colon took bronze at 61 kg. (134.5 lbs.) at The Ziolkowski Memorial Tournament.
Colon, a Freestyle National Team member who was a two-time All-American at Northern Iowa, and competed in this summer's Final X series scored an 11-0 technical fall over Pingping Zhou of China in the bronze-medal bout.
Colon rebounded from a 13-5 quarterfinal loss to Kuat Amirtayev of Kazakhstan on Saturday to earn bronze.
