Bugailiskis and Soke set to compete in the 10th Annual Battle of the Bay

FRESNO, Calif. – Mantas Bugailiskis and Cagatay Soke will represent Fresno State in the Battle of the Bay Sept. 21-23, hosted by the University of San Francisco.
The field will feature No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 4 Stanford, No. 7 TCU, No. 12 USC, No. 15 Texas, No. 18 Georgia, California, San Diego State, San Francisco, UC Santa Barbara, San Diego and Pacific.Â
The weekend will begin with doubles on Friday. As the No. 6 seed Bugailiskis and Soke received a first round bye and will not compete until Saturday morning. The duo will face the winner of Watson/Chinamo (Pacific) and Hoffman/Kikuchi (Cal) at 8:30 a.m. PT.
In singles play, Soke will face Tadiwa Chinamo (Pacific) on Friday at 12 p.m. PT. Bugailiskis received a first round bye as the No. 12 seed, he will play the winner of Paul Giraud (San Francisco) and Tommy Myinikov (Texas Tech) on Friday at 2:00 p.m. PT.
