Fresno State falls in battle to ETSU, 4-3

Fresno State falls to 5-3 (1-0 MW) on the season.
Doubles – The Bulldogs had Angus Bradshaw and Mantas Bugailiskis at No. 1, Cem Erturk and Zdenek Derkas at No. 2 along with Henrique Osorio and Cagatay Soke at the No. 3 position.
The Bucs took the win at the No. 3 position 6-1. Erturk and Derkas defeated their opponents at the No. 2 position 6-4 to even it up.
The doubles point came down to court #1. Bradshaw and Bugailiskis bested their opponents in a tiebreaker to take the doubles point for the Bulldogs.
Singles – The battle continued in singles play with four matches pushed into three sets.
The Bucs took the win at the No. 4 position when Osorio fell 6-0, 6-1. ETSU also notched the win at the No. 2 position when Bradshaw fell 6-1, 7-6.
Soke came up big for the Bulldogs with a three-set win at the No. 5 position 6-4, 2-6, 6-1. Fresno State also took the win at the No. 6 position when Jeremy Moser defeated his opponent in three sets 6-4, 4-6, 7-6.
At the No. 1 position, Derkas suffered his second loss of the season 3-6, 7-5, 6-2. ETSU clinched the match at the No. 3 position when Bugailiskis fell 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.
