- Fresno State has won three straight MW series and eight of its last 10 MW games. The Bulldogs have won 15 of their last 19 games overall, hitting .330 with a 2.10 team ERA during the stretch.
- Schuylar Broussard hit 5-for-10 with 4 home runs, 6 RBI, and 6 runs in three games at Utah State. She also made a sensational diving catch for the final out and was named MW Player of the Week.
- Fresno State hit .340 with seven home runs and 23 runs scored in the sweep at Utah State. The 'Dogs are second in the MW in on-base percentage (.403) and are tied for second in steals (46).
- McKenzie Wilson leads the 'Dogs in batting average (.378), stolen bases (30), and runs (38). She leads the MW and is tied for 11th in the NCAA in steals and is four shy of the program record.
- On Tuesday in Fresno the Bulldogs held RV/RV Stanford to just three hits and McKenzie Wilson hit her first career home run but the Cardinal capitalized on two errors to earn a 3-2 victory.
- New Mexico ranks last in the MW in batting average (.243), ERA (6.64), and fielding percentage (.944). The Lobos have allowed 9.87 runs per game in MW play but have hit 33 homers this year.

Scouting New Mexico (12-32, 3-12 MW)
- New Mexico has just three MW wins this year but defeated Boise State and won at San Diego State. The Lobos also beat Oregon State earlier this year but have lost 11 of their last 13 games.
- The Lobos rank last in the MW in batting average (.243), ERA (6.64), opposing batting average (.326), and fielding percentage (.944) for the season. The squad is 284th out of 295 NCAA Div. I teams in season ERA and has a 9.46 ERA in MW play, allowing 9.87 runs per game in MW games.
- New Mexico does rank fourth in the MW in home runs (33) and leads the league in walks (163).
- Cameryn O'Grady ranks third in the MW in on-base percentage (.483) and doubles (15) while slugging .650. Lauren Wilmert leads the team with seven home runs and 35 RBIs hitting .264.
- The 'Dogs won 2-of-3 games in Albuquerque last year, winning 10-0 in the finale in Danielle East's 15-strikeout no-hitter. Fresno State hasn't lost to New Mexico at home since 1993.
- After earning its first conference sweep of the season at Utah State, Fresno State has won three straight MW series and eight of its last 10 conference games.
- Over the last 10 league games the 'Dogs have hit .303 with nine home runs and have outscored their opposition 53-33.
- The Bulldogs won 2-of-3 games against both UNLV and Nevada before the sweep at Utah State, moving into a tie for third in the conference standings with three weeks remaining in the regular season.
- In the last game between Fresno State and New Mexico, a 10-0 win for the 'Dogs on March 31, 2018 in Albuquerque, Danielle East threw a five-inning no-hitter in which all 15 outs were strikeouts.
- East recorded the 74th no-hitter in program history but the first in which every out was a strikeout. She allowed just one walk and one hit batter as the Lobos never put a ball in play.
- With its last victory on Saturday Fresno State secured a 30-win season for the 38th consecutive year. The program has had an overall winning record in all 41 seasons of its existence.
- In its storied history Fresno State has won 23 conference titles, 59 NCAA Regional games, and 93 total postseason games, reaching the Women's College World Series 12 times with four runner-up finishes and winning the 1998 NCAA title.
- Junior Schuylar Broussard homered in each game in Fresno State's three-game sweep of Utah State, including a pair of two-run home runs in the finale.
- Over the three games Broussard hit 5-for-10 (.500) with four home runs, six RBIs, and six runs scored with a .545 on-base percentage and 1.700 slugging percentage.
- Broussard entered the series with two home runs on the season and seven in her collegiate career and she recorded her first career two-homer game on Saturday.
- She also made a sensational diving catch for the final out in the series finale to complete the series sweep. The play was No. 7 on the Sportscenter Top-10 on Saturday night and has been shared by NCAA Softball on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, garnering tens of thousands of views.
- Fresno State is 17-5 at home this season with six more home games to play. The 2019 'Dogs have equaled the most home wins since the 2015 team went 20-6 at home.
- In 22 home game the Bulldogs have hit .333 with 53 extra-base hits and scored 115 runs while also going 32-for-38 in steals.
- The Fresno State pitchers have combined for a 1.60 ERA and .191 opposing batting average at home as all three pitchers have ERA's below 2.55 this season at Margie Wright Diamond.
- Fresno State has had a winning home record in all 42 years of the program's existence and has won over 79% of its home games in the program's storied history.
- Last Thursday Fresno State freshman outfielder McKenzie Wilson was named one of 25 finalist for the Schutt Sports / NFCA Freshman of the Year award, presented annually to the top freshman in NCAA Div. I. She is the first Bulldog to ever make the list and one of two MW players honored this year.
- Wilson leads the MW and is tied for 11th in NCAA Div. I with 30 stolen bases this year, the third most steals in a season in program history. She is just five steals shy of the single-season program record of 34, set by Brenna Moss twice in 2013 and 2014.
- She has had at least one stolen base in 18 of the last 30 games with multiple steals seven times, three steals in the opener at Utah State.
- She also leads the team hitting .378 and with 38 runs scored as well as six 3-hit games.
- Fresno State is undefeated at 25-0 this season when scoring first.
- The 'Dogs are 14-0 when leading after the first inning and 23-0 when leading after the second inning.
- The Bulldogs have just two losses this season in games in which they held a lead.
- The 'Dogs are 15-4 in their last 19 games overall, including a seven-game win streak.
- Over the last 19 games the Bulldogs have hit .330 as a team while averaging 5.6 runs per game. The pitchers have combined for a 2.10 ERA and .213 opposing batting averaging with just 39 earned runs allowed in 130.0 innings.
- Seven Bulldog starters are hitting better than .300 in the stretch and pitchers Hailey Dolcini and Danielle Lung both have ERAs under 2.00.
- The Red Wave has averaged 1,057 fans per game this year. That attendance average is the highest among all 20 Div. I schools in California (including No. 2 UCLA), second highest among all non-Power-5 schools, and 16th most in all of NCAA Div. I.
- Fresno State's total of 23,256 fans this season is the 12th highest in the nation.
- No other MW team has averaged more than 480 fans per game this year, less than half of the 'Dogs average. Fresno State has averaged more than 1,000 fans per game for 26 consecutive seasons.
- Fresno State leads the MW with 11 shutouts this season.
- Hailey Dolcini has five complete game shutouts and has pitched in seven total shutouts to lead the team.
- The Bulldogs, who have been shutout offensively only five times this year, tallied seven shutouts all of last season and have recorded the most shutouts in a season since the 2015 team finished with 14.
- Rachel Minogue is the fourth-toughest player to strike out in NCAA Div. I, having struck out just twice in 140 official at-bats this year.
- Minogue previously ranked as the toughest player to strike out with just one K over her first 118 at-bats of the year before striking out for just the second time on April 13.
- Minogue went 31 games between strikeouts and has just two strikeouts in 157 total plate appearances this year after striking out just six times all last year.
- Minogue is also second on the team hitting .357 this year and is tied for the team lead with 35 RBIs.
- Fresno State is second in the MW and ranks 23rd in NCAA Div. I with a .403 team on-base percentage this year.
- Six Bulldog starters have on-base percentages better than .400 while two have .450+ OBPs this year.
- As a team the Bulldogs finished fifth in NCAA Div. I with a .410 on-base percentage last year.
- Bulldog senior center fielder Vanessa Hernandez leads the MW and is tied for fifth in NCAA Div. I with 18 doubles this year, the fifth most doubles in a season in program history.
- Hernandez is also tied for the team lead with six home runs and 35 RBIs. She has driven in multiple runs in 11 games this year with 11 multi-hit gamesÂ
- Hailey Dolcini has been named MW Pitcher of the Week three times this year, becoming the first MW pitcher to receive three such honors in one season since former Bulldog Jill Compton got the accolade six times in 2015.
- For the season Dolcini is tied for second in the MW in wins (13), ranks third in strikeouts (102), and fifth in ERA (2.29).
- In 17 starts this season the sophomore transfer is 13-3 with a 1.45 ERA and .210 opposing batting average. Fresno State has won 14 of Dolcini's first 17 starts as a Bulldog and she is 8-1 with a 0.82 ERA at home.
- Fresno State won 15 straight non-conference games prior to dropping the opener of the Sacramento State doubleheader.
- The 'Dogs finished the regular season 22-8 in non-conference games, going 22-5 against non-top-10 ranked teams.
- Freshman Danielle Lung leads the MW with a .218 opposing batting average this season, allowing just 85 hits in 104.1 innings pitched.
- Lung had a streak of 22.0 consecutive innings pitched without allowing an earned run, permitting just 16 hits over the stretch spanning five appearances.
- Lung won 10 consecutive decisions earlier this year and is 13-4 with one save.
