Bulldog Wrestling ranked No. 13 in Intermat recruiting class rankings

The Fresno State Wrestling program checks in as having the 13th-best recruiting class in 2019, according to InterMat Wrestling who released its class rankings on Wednesday.
MINNEAPOLIS - The Fresno State Wrestling program checks in as having the 13th-best recruiting class in 2019, according to InterMat Wrestling who released its class rankings on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs signed a class of five future 'Dogs in November 2018 of Jace Luchau (Selma, Calif.), Matthew Olguin (Clovis, Calif.), Kyle Parco (Concord, Calif.), Ryan Reyes (Fresno, Calif.) and Christian Rodriguez (Selma, Calif.) who will all be freshman in the fall.
The five future Bulldogs all wrapped up stellar prep careers at the 2019 CIF State Tournament in Bakersfield in February with Parco (132 lbs.), Olguin (160 lbs.) & Reyes (195 lbs.) claiming titles while Luchau was third at 152 lbs. and Rodriguez placed fifth at 170 lbs.
Fresno State is the fourth Big 12 team in the rankings behind Oklahoma (7th), Oklahoma State (8th) and Iowa State (9th). Three other Big 12 programs, Northern Colorado (18th), Northern Iowa (19th) and Wyoming (25th) give the conference seven schools in the top 25 which ranked second-most behind 11 programs from the Big Ten.
