Chamberlain set to compete at 2019 World Team Trials [May 18-19]

Fresno State Wrestling assistant coach Jason Chamberlain along with Valley Regional Training Center athlete Joey Lavallee are set to compete at the 2019 World Team Trials in Raleigh, N.C. on Saturday and Sunday.
FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State Wrestling assistant coach Jason Chamberlain along with Valley Regional Training Center athlete Joey Lavallee are set to compete at the 2019 World Team Trials in Raleigh, N.C. on Saturday and Sunday hosted at Reynolds Coliseum.
After taking seventh at the Marine Corps U.S. Open in Las Vegas in April, Chamberlain will enter as the No. 6 seed at 70 kg./154.3 lbs. looking to capture his second World Team Trials title in as many years after winning the title in 2018 in Rochester, Minn. where he defeated Frank Molinaro in a best-of-three series.
In addition to Chamberlain, Lavallee will be the No. 8 seed competing at 74 kg./163.1 lbs. after winning the Last Chance Senior World Team Trials Qualifier on May 5 in East Stroudsburg, Penn.
