‘Dogs close NCAA West Prelims with 4x400

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Fresno State 4x400 relay team closed out the NCAA West Preliminary Round on Saturday evening with a seventh-place finish in Heat No. 2 at Hornet Stadium. The Bulldogs finished the race with a time of 3:40.76.
Finishing 21st overall, Fresno State's team of Maja Pogorevc, Divina Henry, Jestena Mattson and Patricija Roshofa did not qualify for advancement to nationals.
Mattson will be the lone Bulldog to compete in Austin, Texas at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, her second trip to nationals this season. The heptathlon will take place on the final two days of the meet on June 7-8 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
