Tailgating hours extended for home football games

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Athletics announced on Tuesday that tailgate lots will open six hours before kickoff for the 2019 football season.

The announcement marks a two hour extension from previous seasons.

To date, three of the Bulldogs' six home games have kickoff times determined. The home opener against Minnesota (Sept. 7) is slated for 7:30 p.m., Friday Fest against UNLV (Oct. 18) is set for 7 p.m. and the Bulldogs' November 9 date with Utah State is set for 4 p.m. Information regarding the Sacramento State game (Sept. 21) is pending the TV selection process operated by the Mountain West while games against Colorado State (Oct. 26) and Nevada (Nov. 23) will be determined by ESPN no less than 12 days before the designated game day.

For those not ready to purchase a season ticket package, an additional mini plan ticket option was recently revealed. A 3-game plan, starting at $93, was introduced along with the 4-game plan that was announced in May. The 4-game plan starts at $120 and includes Minnesota and the choice of any three games. The 3-game plan allows the choice of any three games on the schedule.
