- The Bulldogs and Aggies will meet for the 32nd time on Saturday.
- While these two teams have met 31 times before, the Bulldogs have traveled to Logan just two times since 2010. The 'Dogs won 41-24 in 2010, and fell 38-20 in 2016.
- With Utah State interim head coach Frank Maile now at the helm, the Bulldogs enter their fourth straight game facing an opponent with a first-year head coach.
- Last week, the Bulldogs' went on the road for the first time in 2020, and defeated UNLV 40-27. The Bulldogs play a unique 2-2-2-2 format of home and away games over eight straight weeks this season.
- The Bulldogs outscored UNLV 13-0 in the fourth quarter, and held them to 40 yards total offense in the final frame to close out their second win of the season.
- Ronnie Rivers earned his first career Mountain West player of the week honor this week after the senior running back racked up 232 all-purpose yards and scored a single-game career-high four touchdowns in the Bulldogs' win over UNLV.
- Fresno State is one of 38 FBS teams averaging 30 points or better (min. 3 games played).
- Fresno State has manufactured 400 yards total offense or better in each of its first three games. It is the longest such streak since 2018.
- Rivers is one touchdown shy of tying the Fresno State program record for career touchdowns. Rivers owns 43 career TDs and trails program leader Anthony Daigle who scored 44 from 1991-93 -- one of his father's teammates.
- In last week's game at UNLV, Fresno State's defense racked up six sacks. It was the most since the Bulldogs totaled six, ironically against the Rebels, on Oct. 16, 2015.
- Fresno State ranks sixth nationally in sacks per game (4.67).
- The forecast on Saturday calls for a chance of snow. The last time the Bulldogs played in those elements was the 2018 Mountain West Championship game when they defeated Boise State, 19-16 in overtime.
