'Dogs set personal bests on day two of MW Indoor Championships

ALBUQUEREQUE, N.M. – Day two at the 2020 Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Friday with a number of Bulldogs recording personal bests at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
In the weight throw, Amelai DiPaola recorded Fresno State's top finish of the day, placing ninth. The freshman landed a personal best throw of 16.98m/55-8.5. Also in the field, Noelina Madarieta set a new indoor best in the long jump with 5.58m/18-3.75 to place 16th, three spots behind Andira Ferguson (5.62m/18-5.25).
On the track, the Bulldogs set seven personal bests. Sophomore Monique Frometa led the 'Dogs in the 200 meters at 25.26. Freshman Daevion Robinson paced Fresno State in the 400 meters with a time of 57.72. Queen Okoh recorded the team's top finish in the sprints, placing 13th in the 60 meteres after clocking a time of 7.67.
The final day of the championships begins at 8:30 a.m. PT with the women's high jump.
