A look at the Pacific Tigers
Pacific is off to a 8-8 start to the season with a 3-5 mark on the road. The Tigers, who were picked last in the WCC preseason poll, are coming off a 1-2 weekend series at Grand Canyon blanking the Antelopes, 8-0.
Pacific is hitting .276 as a team to rank fourth in the WCC in average with junior outfielder Charles Middleton leading the way at .406.
Middleton leads the Tigers in hits (26), doubles (5), home runs (3), RBI (19), runs (14) and total bases (40).
On the mound, the Tigers have a 5.18 ERA and a 2.17 strikeout-to-walk ratio while holding opponents to a .274 average. Junior right-hander Landon Curtis has appeared in a team-high nine appearances earning two saves.
