Bulldogs in the NFL week 3 lookout

FRESNO, Calif. – The number of Bulldogs active on NFL rosters has grown every week of the season. Since week 1 with seven, and week 2 with eight, week 3 will have nine former Fresno State Bulldogs on active NFL rosters.
When NFL teams had to set its first 53-man rosters on Sept. 6 to start the 2020 season, seven Fresno State alumni were among those names, but it dropped to six two days before the first Sunday, but bounced back to seven before week 1 got underway.
KeeSean Johnson was on the Cardinals' initial active roster, but was placed on the COVID/reserve list on Sept. 11, and missed the first two weeks of the season. He will be active week 3, and is the ninth Bulldog added to the current list.
Kenny Wiggins, who started the season on the Detroit Lions' practice squad, was activated for week 1 a day prior to game day, and then officially signed to the Lions' active roster on Sept. 19.
Curtis Riley, who started the season on the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad, was released and then signed by the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 17. He is active for the second straight week.
Davante Adams, Derek Carr, Tyeler Davison, Netane Muti, Mykal Walker and Charles Washington are the six 'Dogs who have been active since the first 53-man rosters were released on Sept. 6.
