MPSF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Freshman attacker Logann Eldredge was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week on Monday. Eldredge scored her first collegiate hat trick in Fresno State's 20-11 win at Kent State. Her final stat line read four goals, three assists, seven points, six shots, and five shots on goal. The freshman tied for the third-most points (7) and fourth-most assists (3) in a game in program history last time out.

SCORING SKALSTAD - Junior attacker Sydney Skalstad led the team with a season-high five goals on eight shots at Kent State last week. She has a team-high seven goals on 14 shots this season. She is ranked No. 19 in the NCAA and leads the conference in goals. Skalstad is also No. 19 in free position goals per game (1.50).

WINNING THE DRAW - Winning the draw is a big part of the offensive momentum for any lacrosse team. The Bulldogs have been led by Sydney Skalstad in the category. Skalstad has 14 draw controls in two games this season and is ranked No. 13 in the NCAA in draw controls per game (7.00).

Last time out, Skalstad set a single game program record with 12 draw controls. She held the previous record of nine.

HENNESSEY THE MIDDY - Sophomore midfielder Hennessey Evans has continued to be a force in the midfield for the Bulldogs. Picking up where she left off last season, Evans leads the team with seven ground balls and four caused turnovers in two games this season. She is second on the team with five goals, and adds two assists.

Evans ranks No. 25 in the NCAA in caused turnovers per game, averaging two a game this season. Last time out, Evans scored four goals on seven shots. She also added one ground ball and a team-high three caused turnovers in the win at Kent State.

COURTNEY IN THE CAGE - Senior goalkeeper Courtney Walburger has recorded 19 saves in two games this season. She is off of a career-high 10 saves at Kent State. She ranks No. 11 in the NCAA in saves through two games.

SENIOR CAPTAINS - Head coach Kara Concheck announced the 2021 team captains on Friday, Feb. 12. The Bulldogs' six seniors in Lauren Gonzales, Lauren Kiszely, Hannah Krats, Abbigayle Roberts, Courtney Walburger and Megan Walaitis, will lead the team as captains for the season.

SCOUTING RMU - Robert Morris opened their season with a 9-8 win against Liberty on Sunday. RMU closed the shortened 2020 season with a 5-2 record, and a perfect 4-0 mark at home. The Colonials were picked to finish second in the MAC preseason coaches poll. They received two first place votes. RMU returned its top three goal scorers from a season ago, and boasts a 12-person freshman class.
