ESPN Airs Second Round and Semifinals in Prime Time; ESPNU Presents First Round and Quarterfinals
Primetime coverage begins with the second round on ESPN2 on Thursday at 3 p.m. PT and continues with the semifinals on ESPN on Friday at 5 p.m. PT. On Thursday and Friday, ESPNU will also air the first round and quarterfinals at 8 a.m. PT each day.
Championship Saturday Night
ESPN's Championship Saturday night coverage will conclude the three-day event, with the network airing each national championship match beginning at 4Â p.m. ET. Earlier in the day, ESPN2 and ESPN3 will begin the final day of competition with coverage of the Medal Round at 8Â a.m. PT.
Coverage highlights
- One Screen, Multiple Mats: TV coverage will often show multiple mats at one time, with a scroll of both individual results and team standings continuously updating in real time
- Robotic cameras will be stationed around the arena for the first time, including two on towers in the center to allow for a 360-degree view of all adjacent mats – providing a new and unique view
- ESPN3 will offer individual feeds of each mat for all sessions, including all eight mats for the first round, second round, quarterfinals and semifinals, and all four mats in the medal round

141 lbs. - No. 13 seed DJ Lloren, RSr. (11-1 overall record)

149 lbs. - No. 17 seed Kyle Parco, RFr. (14-1 overall record)

Bulldog Headlines
- Fresno State Wrestling will have two wrestlers in the 2021 NCAA Championships with redshirt senior DJ Lloren being the No. 13 seed at 141 lbs. & redshirt freshman Kyle Parco earning the No. 17 seed at 149 lbs.Â
- Lloren enters with an 11-1 overall record while Parco is 14-1.
- Both Lloren and Parco are coming off third place finishes at the Big 12 Championship in their respective weight classes.
- Lloren qualified for the NCAA Championships a year ago at 141 lbs. before they were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic while Parco will make his NCAA Championship debut.
Lloren earned his second trip to the NCAA Championships in as many years with a third-place finish at 141 pounds at Big 12 Championship. A year after being an at-large qualifier at the weight, Lloren earned an automatic berth this year and enters the NCAA Championships with a 11-1 overall record.
Parco joins Lloren as an automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championships after he placed third at 149 pounds. Parco went 4-1 in the tournament and sits 14-1 overall on the season as the redshirt freshman's only loss came at the Big 12 Championship to Northern Iowa's Triston Lara, 9-4.
Finally, freshman Haiden Drury made it three 'Dogs among the place winners taking sixth at 133 pounds going 2-3 in the tournament.

Lloren: 1-1; picked up a 6-4 win over No. 15 seed Clay Carlson (SDSU) & fell 6-2 to No. 7 seed Ian Parker (ISU)
Parco:Â 2-1; earned two wins over No. 18 seed Jarrett Degen (ISU), 4-3 & 9-4 & fell 9-4 to No. 23 seed Triston Lara (UNI)
Fresno State NCAA Wrestling Championships History
The Bulldogs have had 22Â individuals earn 35Â All-American honors in program history as eight have earned multiple honors, including Gerry Abas (1992-95) and Stephen Abas (1998-99, 2001-02) who are the 'Dogs ony two four-time All-Americans.
Fresno State sent a pair of wrestlers to the NCAA Championships in 2018, five in 2019 and five more in 2020 before they were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last four seasons, 10 individuals have qualified 14 times with Lloren joining Khristian Olivas (2018 & '19), AJ Nevills (2018 & '19) and Josh Hokit (2019 & '20) as each qualifying two times apiece.
Hokit went on to become a two-time All-American placing fifth at 197 pounds in 2019 and earned second-team NWCA All-American honors in 2020 after the NCAA Championships were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
