'Dogs blank Dons on Saturday afternoon

FRESNO, Calif. — The Fresno State men's tennis team extended their winning streak, defeating San Francisco for its fifth consecutive win. The Bulldogs swept the Dons 4-0 at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon and will now turn their attention to tomorrow's rematch with Loyola Marymount.
Fresno State is now 7-2 overall this season. Senior Angus Bradshaw claimed yet another win in singles play, improving his overall singles record to 8-0 this season.
How It Happened
Doubles
The 'Dogs earned their first point of the match by sweeping San Francisco in doubles play. The pairing of Zdenek Derkas and Dario Huber won the first match 6-1, with Alexey Aleschev and Reece Falck clinching the point, 6-2.
Singles
Singles play opened up with a win from Bradshaw at the No. 3 spot 6-0, 6-2. The senior's win maintained his undefeated run to start the season.
The next win came from fellow Derkas, who took the No. 1 spot 6-3, 6-1. Soon after, the 'Dogs clinched the match with a win at the No. 6 spot from Henrique Osorio, 6-4, 6-2.
