A solo home run by the Spartans' Ruben Ibarra in the top of the fourth cut the 'Dogs lead in half and SJSU tied the game at two in the top of the sixth on an RBI single.
The Bulldogs quickly answered back with two runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 4-2 lead getting RBI singles from Morgan (watch) and Wink (watch). A leadoff single by Andrew Jurado brought up the tying run for the Spartans, but Hill was able to retire the next three Spartans to seal the win.
