FRESNO, Calif. – Beginning its final homestand of the season, Fresno State was unable to capitalize, falling 1-0 to Boise State on Thursday night at Bulldog Soccer Stadium. It was the second straight 1-0 defeat for the Bulldogs.
How It Happened
Fresno State got the match's first opportunity in the fifth minute. Set up from 12 yards out of the right post, Kaelyn Miller's attempt slid wide of the left post. The Broncos capitalized on the miss, going up 1-0 in the 13th minute on a designed play off a corner that had Morgan Stone find Jocelyn Stephens.
With Boise State taking a 1-0 lead into the second half, the Bulldogs put the Broncos' defense under constant pressure looking for the equalizer.
