The Wolf Pack enter this weekend with a 8-6 overall mark and a 4-1 record in the Mountain West. Nevada is coming off a midweek split at home against Dixie State and swept San Jose State at home last weekend.
Nevada is hitting .301 as a team to rank second in the conference while leading the league in slugging percentage (.484) and on-base percentage (.418). The Wolf Pack are averaging 8.3 runs per game and have scored 10 or more runs in five games this season.

Newton tied a single-game program record on March 12 going 6-for-6 with five singles, a double, three RBI and one run scored in a 12-3 win over New Mexico.

The Diamond 'Dogs lead the Mountain West in sacrifice bunts (12), ERA (4.47) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.68).
Morgan sits atop the conference in batting average (.417), doubles (10) & hits (30) and is currently on an 11-game hitting streak.
Andrew Kachel has drawn a MW-leading 13 walks and Ixan Henderson leads in strikeouts (34), ERA (1.25) and opposing batting average (.203).
