A look at the San Diego State Aztecs
The Aztecs enter this weekend with a 12-30 overall record and a 4-14 mark in the Mountain West.

SDSU is coming off a 4-3 win at Long Beach State on Tuesday and swept New Mexico on the road in its last MW series, April 14-16.

The Aztecs, who are 6-8 on the road this season, are hitting .252 as a team to rank seventh in the MW and average 4.6 runs per game.

Cole Carrigg leads the team with a .370 average and tops the team in hits (60), doubles (9), RBIs (28), total bases (77), slugging percentage (.475), on-base percentage (.408) & stolen bases (17).

As a pitching staff, the Aztecs lead the MW in ERA (4.85), strikeouts (390) and opposing batting average (.256).

The starting rotation of Troy Melton, Clovis native TJ Fondtain and Chris Canada have combined for five wins and Melton leads the team in ERA (1.38), wins (3) and strikeouts (42).

The Bulldogs will take on San Diego State on Saturday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. after the Spring Preview with food trucks available from Fresno Street Eats along with live entertainment and beverages also available.

Mike Batesole Day set for Sunday
After honoring Pete Beiden and Bob Bennett with special days earlier this season, the 'Dogs will honor head coach Mike Batesole on Sunday as the 20-year skipper has led Fresno State to the 2008 National Championship, seven conference regular season along with seven postseason tournament titles.

Morgan putting together stellar season
Morgan ranks fourth in the nation with 19 doubles and checks in second in the MW in batting average (.404).

In 18 Mountain West contests, Morgan is hitting .375 with 13 extra-base knocks, 20 runs scored, 15 RBI, 11 walks with only four strikeouts.

'Dogs sacrificing for the team
The Bulldogs lead the Mountain West and rank 10th in the nation with 28 sacrifice bunts with Travis Walker and Payton Allen each leading the MW with five.
