Fresno State set a new single game program record for home runs with eight on April 12 at Sacramento State in a 19-0 win over the Hornets.
In addition, the 'Dogs posted their second shutout of the season with five pitchers combining for a four-hit shutout, the most pitchers the 'Dogs have used in a shutout since seven were used in a 13-0 win over Cal Poly on Feb. 25, 2020.
The 'Dogs scored their most runs since April 23, 2017 at Nevada (27) and it was the 'Dogs largest shutout since March 14, 2009 when the 'Dogs defeated Buffalo, 20-0.
Three 'Dogs hit double-digit home runs
For the first time since 2017, the Bulldogs have at least three players with double-digit home runs after Kachel smacked a pair and Lauck added one on Tuesday in a 5-3 win over Cal Poly to join Luna with 10 homers apiece.
Aaron Arruda led the team with 15 while Jake Stone (11), Jared Akins (11) and Scott Silva (10) combined for 47 of the 'Dogs 76 home runs in 2017.
