'Dogs host Titans in another mid-week matchup

In another night full of shots from the three, the Bulldogs put up another impressive set of 11 three-pointers against the Tritons on Saturday. For the second time this season, Fresno State would record 11 made three-pointers in a single game.Â
Franka Wittenberg and Mia Jacobs would lead the team in three-pointers that night with three 3-pointers. Wittenberg would shoot 3-of-3, 100 percent from the three and Jacobs would go 3-of-6, 50 percent from the three.Â
Four other Bulldogs would record a three-pointer on Saturday night, Kylee Fox (2), Taija Sta. Maria, Keely Brown and Deajanae Harvey.Â
BREAKING 100Â
Mia Jacobs is the first Bulldog this season to break over a 100 combined points. Jacobs recorded a career-high 25 points against  and has scored double-digit points in the last three games (10, vs EIU), (18, vs Portland State) and (15, vs UCSD)
ADD IT TO THE HIGHLIGHT REELÂ
Two Bulldogs played career games this last week, Kylee Fox and Franka Wittenberg. Fox earned a career-high 19 points and five 3-pointers against Portland State on Nov. 29. Fox's performance this last week has earned her MW Freshman of the week. Fox's final stats of the night would be 19 points, 63% from the field, five three-pointers (62%) and four steals.Â
After taking some time off the court last week, Wittenberg is back in full force. Wittenberg got in some light play against Portland State. Against UC San Diego, Wittenberg would be ready to play a standout game, recording a career-high 19 points and going 3-of-3 from behind the arc.Â

Freshman Kylee Fox has been tabbed as the Mountain West Freshman of the Week. (Dec. 4)Â
Fox is the second Bulldog to earn Mountain West Honors this season and the second freshman to earn the honor this season. This is the first time in program history that two freshmen have been tabbed with the MW Honor in the same season.Â
Fox helped the Bulldogs to a 1-1 week with a loss to Portland State (61-72) and a win over UC San Diego (71-52). Averaged 13.5 points and 1.5 rebounds, shooting 63 percent from the field (10-for-16) and 58 percent from outside the arc (7-for-12). Â Against Portland, recorded five 3-pointers and 19 points, both career highs, on 7-for-11 shooting, including a 5-for-8 effort from behind the arc. Also contributed four steals and two assists. Against UC San Diego, tallied eight points on 3-for-5 shooting, including a pair of 3-pointers. She added three steals, two rebounds and two assists.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTÂ
Fresno State and CSU Fullerton will meet for the 32nd time on Wednesday night. Fresno State trails the all-time series 13-19, but leads the last two meetings. The two programs will meet for the 17th time at the Save Mart Center, since their last meeting in 2014. The last time out Fresno State kept the win at home in a tight game, 57-52.Â
