BULLDOG BONES

Fresno State is coming off a sixth-place finish at the Triton Invitational hosted by UC San Diego going 2-2 in the tournament with wins over No. 21 San Diego State and No. 18 UC San Diego.
The Bulldogs rank No. 10 in this week's CWPA rankings.
The 'Dogs will take on three California opponents this weekend at the Fresno State Invite welcoming nearby Fresno Pacific along with Biola (La Mirada) and Claremont Mudd-Scripps (Claremont).
Freshman Hailey Andress was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 9 scoring 12 goals in four matches at the Triton Invite, including six against Long Beach State.
The Bulldogs bring back 11 returners and welcome eight newcomers this season.

A LOOK AT THE FRESNO STATE INVITE

Broken up over three days, there will be a pair of neutral site matches on Friday followed by six on Saturday and one final match on Sunday featuring the 'Dogs and Claremont Mudd-Scripps.
The 'Dogs are joined by UC Davis and Azusa Pacific as Division I opponents while Biola & Fresno Pacific are Division II and Claremont Mudd-Scripps is in Division III.
The 'Dogs are 7-0 all-time against Fresno Pacific, 1-0 against Biola and will be the first meeting against Claremont Mudd-Scripps.

'DOGS MOVE DOWN TO NO. 10 IN CWPA POLL

The Bulldogs fell down to No. 10 in the latest CWPA rankings on Feb. 8 and stayed there this week.

ANDRESS NAMED GCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Freshman Hailey Andress was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 9 after leading the 'Dogs with 12 goals at the Triton Invite, including six against Long Beach State.
On the season, Andress has 20 goals sitting only Brooke Ochoa who leads the team with 23.

LOOK BACK AT THE TRITON INVITE

The Bulldogs opened play at the Triton Invite against San Diego State defeating No. 21 San Diego State, 15-7 with six goals from Ochoa.
After a loss to No. 5 Hawaii, the 'Dogs defeated No. 18 UC San Diego, 10-8 with three goals from Daphne Guevremont.

SCOUTING BIOLA

Biola enters the Fresno State Invite with a 3-6 overall mark.
The Eagles have wins over Whittier, Redlands & Azusa Pacific.
The Bulldogs won their lone previous meeting against Biola last season winning, 15-7.

SCOUTING FRESNO PACIFIC

Fresno Pacific enters the Fresno State Invite with a 2-6 overall mark.
The Sunbirds have wins over Redlands & Occidental.
The Bulldogs are 7-0 against FPU with a 21-5 win in 2022 and have outscored the Sunbirds, 141-36.

SCOUTING CLAREMONT MUDD-SCRIPPS

Claremont Mudd-Scripps enters the Fresno State Invite with a 1-2 overall mark.
The Athenas defeated Fresno Pacific, 11-8 at home on Feb. 4 in their last contest.
CMS got its season started with losses to Long Beach State and Loyola Marymount and went 16-9 in 2022 with a 12-2 mark in the SCIAC.
