- Fresno State is out to its best start to a season in program history with a 4-0 record heading into the weekend in Hawai'i.Â
- The Bulldogs defeated four ranked teams in last weekend's Polo-Palooza, including the top-ranked Stanford. The Cardinal are back-to-back NCAA National Champions.Â
- The Bulldogs became the first GCC team to defeat the nation's No. 1 team.Â
- Fresno State earned its highest-ever team ranking, coming in at No. 5 in this week's CWPA rankings. The Bulldogs jumped four spots in this week's announcement, ranking ninth in the preseason poll.Â
- Senior attacker Abbey Simshauser was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week.Â
- Junior attacker Brooke Ochoa is just one goal away from 100 in her career. She would become the fourth Bulldog in program history to surpass the 100 career goal mark.Â
- A handful of new faces saw game action for the Bulldogs last season in transfers Simshauser (Wagner College) and Robyn Greenslade (Indiana). True freshmen Kira Anderson, Sidney Strickland and Ida Tully-Giles also saw significant minutes for the 'Dogs.Â
- Fresno State has a player lead the conference standings in goals (Hailey Andress), assists (Brooke Ochoa), field blocks (Abbey Simshauser), sprint wins (Cynthia Rosa), saves and save percentage (Paula Nieto Jasny).Â
