
Pace to compete in triple jump at NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday

FRESNO, Calif. – On the final day of the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Fresno State junior Rachela Pace will make her first appearance on the national stage, competing in the triple jump at The TRACK at new balance on Saturday.
Prelims in the triple jump will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The top nine competitors through prelims will advance to the finals. Live results can be found here. The championships will air on ESPN3.
Pace earned her spot at the championships with a program record mark of 13.40m 43-11.75 at the Don Kirby Invitational. She will be the first athlete to represent Fresno State at the indoor championships since Jestena Mattson competed in the pentathlon in 2019. Prior to that, the last Bulldog at the indoor championships was Je'Nea Sears (long jump) in 2013.
