- The Diamond 'Dogs are returning to Tony Gwynn field for the first time since March of 2022.
- The last time Fresno State played against the Aztecs in San Diego, the Bulldogs fell in three straight games.
- San Diego State will also host the Mountain West Championship at the end of May where the top four teams in the conference will compete for the title.
- The Diamond 'Dogs took a break from MW play for five straight games, including a series win over Washington State on the road.

- Noah Beal has struck out 64 batters in 54.1 innings, the fourth most in the conference.
- Fresno State has also allowed the least number of runs in the league, with 256 and only 64 doubles.
- Tommy Hopfe leads the MW in saves and is 10th in the country in the category with eight on the season.
- As a team, the Bulldogs rank third in the nation with an average of 2.95 walks per nine innings.
- A strikeout-to-walk ratio of 3.10 places the Bulldogs sixth in the nation.
