2024 'Dogs in the NFL: Preseason Week 3

FRESNO, Calif. - The NFL preseason concluded on Sunday with a handful of former Bulldogs having key performances for their teams. Fresno State linebackers Levelle Bailey and Arron Mosby had the biggest plays of the weekend for their respective teams.Â
Following week one of preseason action, Detroit Lions CB Morice Norris Jr. was added to the injured reserve with a reported hamstring injury.
With the preseason concluding, teams will make final cuts for their rosters next week.Â
Fresno State also has one former spirit team member with the San Francisco 49ers — Claire Bringetto.Â

Davante Adams (Las Vegas Raiders)
Adams did not see action in the preseason.
Levelle Bailey (Denver Broncos)
Bailey had the play of the evening with a 94-yard pick-six. It was his first interception at the professional level. The rookie also added one tackle on special teams. Â
DaRon Bland (Dallas Cowboys)
Bland did not see action in the preseason. The Cowboys announced that Bland will be out 6-8 weeks for surgery on a stress fracture in his foot.
Derek Carr (New Orleans Saints)Â
Carr did not play in Sunday's preseason game.
Jaelen Gill (Los Angeles Chargers)
Gill had one kickoff return for 23 yards in Saturday's game against the Cowboys. He also added one reception for 18 yards.
Jake Haener (New Orleans Saints)Â
Haener got the start against the Titans on Sunday. He completed 8-of-17 pass attempts for 87 yards, splitting time with Spencer Rattler at QB.
Carlton Johnson (Seattle Seahawks)Â
Johnson again recorded two tackles for the Seahawks.
Jordan Mims (New Orleans Saints)Â
Mims had five carries for 33 yards on Sunday. He also added two receptions for 14 yards.
Again taking on special teams responsibilities, he had one kickoff return for 23 yards.
Jalen Moreno-Cropper (Dallas Cowboys)Â
Moreno-Cropper got the start at wide receiver on Saturday. He finished the game with one reception for six yards. He had one kickoff return for 24 yards, and had one fair catch on a punt return opportunity.
Arron Mosby (Green Bay Packers)Â
Mosby had his premier showing of the preseason, not getting the start but making key first half plays for the Packers. Mosby caused two turnovers in the first half alone, first with a strip sack and following up with an interception on the following drive.
Nikko Remigio (Kansas City Chiefs)Â
Remigio had another week of versatility for the Chiefs, proving his contributions to the team. He had just two catches for one yard but on special teams he produced yardage. He had one fair catch on a punt return, but had two kickoff returns for 71 yards.
Ronnie Rivers (Los Angeles Rams)
Rivers did not see action in the preseason.
Mykal Walker (Washington Commanders)Â
Walker started again at outside linebacker for the Commanders. He tied for the second-most tackles on the team with three.
