2023 (SENIOR): Appeared in all 13 games, started in three … totaled 49 catches for 516 yards and six touchdowns … his six touchdowns tied for the team-high … he also added 10 carries for 24 yards … was 2-of-3 in his pass attempts, throwing two completions for touchdowns … had a season-high 126 yards receiving and two touchdowns against Nevada (Sept. 30) … had a 65-yard reception against the Wolf Pack … had at least one reception in every game this season … was also the Bulldogs’ primary kickoff returner with 25 returns for 527 yards on the year … also had one punt return for 10 yards against Boise State (Nov. 4) … had five games with over 100 all-purpose yards … preseason addition to the Paul Hornung Award watch list.
PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: Gill comes to Fresno State from Boston College. He spent the 2020-22 seasons at Boston College after beginning his collegiate career at Ohio State (2018-19). He will have one year of eligibility at Fresno State … once transferring to Boston College, he became an immediate starter for the Eagles, playing in 11 games and starting seven in 2020 … he caught 20 passes for 435 yards and a touchdown in his first season there … in 2021, Gill played in nine games with five starts, catching 24 passes for 269 yards and a touchdown … in 2022, he caught 27 passes for 388 yards as the team's starter … also served as the team's primary kickoff returner, totaling 24 returns for 509 yards that season … redshirted in his freshman year at Ohio State (2018), seeing action in two games that season … in 2019, he played in six games as a redshirt freshman … finished the season with six receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown.
