Spaulding rounds out competition in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. - Fresno State sophomore Ella Spaulding finished 19th in the heptathlon at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, earning honorable mention All-American honors.

She totaled 5,371 points through the seven events.
"I did what I wanted to do. I was super happy with that," said Spaulding. "My coach holds me to a super high expectation, which I appreciate. He is also a very technical coach and I have gotten stronger since being with him. I am very excited for next year."

The sophomore Bulldog saw personal-best marks in the 100m hurdles (14.09), high jump (1.69m/5-6.5), and javelin (38.74/127-1).
