Â
Alone at the top
Last time out, senior attacker Hailey Andress became the program's all-time leading scorer. With 15 goals through the four games, she surpassed Brooke Ochoa who owned the record with 217 goals at the end of her career in 2025. Andress is up to 225 career goals, and counting. The senior is primed to extend the goals record far beyond what it is, having been the program's top sharp shooter in each of her seasons at Fresno State.
Â
Andress also owns the program record in career hat tricks with 41 entering this weekend. She already has seven this season. The single season hat trick record is 15, held by Ochoa in 2025.
Â
A balanced attack
Andress does have a lot of help, and young help at that. The Bulldogs' second and third-leading scorers are freshmen Riaan Bryant and Charley Stephens. Bryant is second with 19 goals and Stephens adds 16 to the tally.
Â
Young across the board
Fresno State brought on six true freshmen to the roster for 2026, and all six of them have seen time as consistent contributors for the Bulldogs. In addition to Bryant and Stephens, Charli Munoz, Katya Aleshina, Noa Markovsky and Katelyn Mobely have made a difference in the pool this spring.
Â
A moment for Mobes
Fresno State freshman goalkeeper Katelyn Mobley was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week following her performance at the Brigitte Donner Daws Memorial Invite.
Â
Mobley had 44 saves in four games, all against Top 20 opponents. She led the Bulldogs to wins over No. 12 San Jose State (10-8) and No. 16 UC Davis (13-9), while falling to No. 4 and host Cal (15-11) and No. 3 UCLA (14-6). Mobley had a .500 save percentage last weekend, going up against some of the nation's top talent.
Â
The true freshman had her best performance of the weekend with a season-high 16 saves against No. 16 UC Davis. Her 16 saves are enough for second in a game in program history, and the most by a true freshman. She allowed only nine goals for a .640 save percentage against the Aggies, her highest of the season.
Â
She had 10 or more saves in three of the four games on the weekend.
Â
Through 12 games this season, Mobley has totaled 107 saves. She earned the Bulldogs' first GCC Player of the Week honor this season.
Â
International 'Dogs
Of the 25 players on the Bulldogs' roster, 10 are international student-athletes. The Bulldogs have athletes on the roster from New Zealand, the Netherlands, Australia, Russia and Israel (in addition to the United States).
