Fresno State: One of the most improved players on the team over the last couple of seasons ... will battle Marvin Haynes for a starting spot at free safety in the fall ... a smart and tough player who has paid his dues with limited defensive work and a lot of time on special teams ... a good student. (2007) Saw action in all 13 games on defense and special teams ... had 23 tackles which ranked 14th on the team ... made his first career interception against Georgia Tech in the Roady[apos]s Humanitarian Bowl.
