2015 (Senior): Named to the CoSIDA 2015 Academic All-America Division I Football second-team, becoming the sixth Bulldog football player to be named an Academic All-American ... also was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first-team for a third-consecutive season and to the 2015 Mountain West Fall All-Academic team ... started in all 12 games at right tackle, giving him 39 consecutive starts to close out his career ... helped lead a rushing attack that gained 1,642 yards on the ground, 920 of which came from starting running back Marteze Waller ... part of front-five that was flagged for just 15 of the Bulldogs 59 penalties on the year, a squad that ranked No. 18 in the country for fewest penalties ... Northern alone, was not called for a holding penalty all season and was flagged for just three penalties (false starts) on the season ... entering the season NFL.com reporter Chase Goodbread ranked Northern No. 6 in his report on the 15 smartest players in college football ... was a semifinalist for the National Football Foundation's William V. 2013 (Sophomore): Named to the Capital One Academic All-District 8 first-team, to the Mountain West All-Academic team and to the 2013-14 Mountain West Scholar-Athlete for having a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA ... started all 13 games at right tackle ... member of offensive line that led the way for one of the nation's most prolific offense's, as the Bulldogs led the FBS in passing (394.8 ypg), ranked third in total offense (547.8 ypg) and was sixth in scoring (43.4 ppg) ... he and the rest of the team only allowed 11 sacks in 13 games, a figure that tied for the sixth-fewest sacks allowed in the FBS ... what makes that sack total so impressive is that Fresno State did so while throwing the ball 675 times in 2013, which was 246 more pass attempts than any other of the teams ranked head of the `Dogs in fewest sacks allowed ... he helped the Bulldog offense produce the best season in school history, setting 19 school offensive records in 2013.
2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Received the 2012-13 Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Award ... appeared in the Colorado, Hawai'i and Air Force games.
