Prior to Fresno State: Was a two-year letter winner at El Diamante High School in Visalia … played both tight end and defensive end earning first-team all-league honors at tight end, and second-team honors at defensive end for the Miners as a senior … helped El Diamante win the city championship in 2012 and 2013 along with capturing the Valley championship in 2013 as the Miners went 9-1 ... also played in the Tulare-Kings All-Star game.
