2021 (SENIOR*): Was the team’s primary long snapper in all 13 games … had two tackles on the season - one against Boise State (Nov. 6) and UTEP (Dec. 18) … named to the Patrick Mannelly Award watch list.
*Utilized the additional year of eligibility approved by the NCAA in the fall of 2020. The NCAA approved a blanket waiver for all 2020 fall sports student-athletes to retain a year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 (SENIOR): Was the Bulldogs’ primary long snapper in the first four games of the season … had a tackle at Utah State (Nov. 14) … Phil Steele All-Mountain West fourth team selection ... named to the Fall Academic All-Mountain West team.
2019 (JUNIOR): Was the team’s primary long snapper for all 12 games … had two tackles on the season … assisted a tackle on Nov. 9 vs. Utah State … had a solo tackle against Nevada (Nov. 23).
2018 (SOPHOMORE): Served as the primary long snapper, competing in all 14 games … recorded one tackle in the Mountain West Championship against Boise State on Dec. 1.
2017 (R-FRESHMAN): Played in all 14 games as the team’s primary long snapper … recorded two tackles on the year, one at No. 6 Washington on Sept. 16 and another in the Mountain West Championship game at Boise State on Dec. 2.
2016 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at Saint Stephen's Episcopal in Bradenton, Florida (football, basketball and baseball) ... named to 2015 first-team All-Sunshine State Athletic Conference team – offensive line ... the two-way player produced 40 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, a blocked kick, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery on the defensive line and was a 2015 Inaugural Independents All-State Elite Team second-team defensive end selection … was a 1,000-point scorer in basketball and had a .400 batting average with 19 RBIs as a senior for the baseball team ... served as a captain for both his football and basketball teams.
PERSONAL: Son of Alisa and Michael Westberry ... has two younger brothers, Cade and Steven ... finance major at Fresno State.
